»Leading-edge research, internationally networked and originating from Heielberg's scientists and scholars or conducted in cooperation with them - this is the central objective behind the sponsorship offered by the Lautenschläger Research Prize. As such, the award encompasses and reinforces the quintessential characteristics and goals of our university. I am grateful for yet another indication of the close connection that exists between Manfred Lautenschläger and the Ruperto Carola.«
